thoughts on a Gen3 Mamba

looking at this one in particular. Dodge : Viper Dodge : Viper | eBay

what is a reasonable price? anyone know the car, or see anything that would need to be addressed or looked at on this car? I wasn't really looking for a Gen 3, I am still looking for a tastefully modded Gen 2. but I've heard the Gen3s have a lot of desired perks, more power, more comfortable, easy to get in and out of for bigger guys (I'm 6'3 240) braking performance is greatly improved as well as handling being better. would like opinions. otherwise I will likely go GTS-RT/10 route, not sure which as I like both.

In my opinion your are looking at a numbered car that is not any different from any other stock gen 3. I myself wouldn't buy one because your paying more for nothing.. But thats just me

You could get a nice one for the 40 mark..

what are things to watch on the gen 3's vs Gen 2s?

thanks for the help, that's kind of what I thought. I was wondering what the hell the mamba was other than a plate and numbered car.

this is another option, although I think it's high...and it says built, but the only thing I see is a set of wheels.

There are many reputable dealers in TX and across the US. Expo just has a bad history of not giving the full story about cars theyre trying to sell, as well as shitty service and trying to screw potential customers.

am I going to be disappointed in straight line performance coming from a 03 cobra with 700 to the ground to a gen 2? I know the viper has a huge weight and handling advantage, just curious. I loved my cobra. but she's gone on to a new owner.

Nope. Not even if you pull a few plug wires off the Viper.

I say yes. I test drove my viper vs my 500 rwhp mustang and I was not happy when I hit the gas in the viper. It seemed slow, so now I have a 700rwhp viper.

It looks like you pay extra for an ugly red interior...
