Exclamation **520ci Dodge Viper By Late Model Racecraft**

Just installed another 520ci engine in this 06 Dodge Viper. Car made great numbers with such a mild cam shaft. Car drives like factory until you step on the throttle. Torque curve is great as usual. Enjoy!

I guess the biggest thing is what was done to the motor, its a stroker yes. But is it built for boost? Im with slow on this.. Then again i guess is 600 whp but was expecting more..

Looks fantastic with the polished intake.

maybe im wrong but 600rwhp is not so impresssive. A&C tuned an SRT with built engine and Greg good heads MUCH higher than that (like close to 700rhp)

x2! A stock short block with the GG heads and cam, looking around 615hp without a tune!
Got a 03 in my shop that is about to get the same mods. GG heads and cam, with full exhaust, and our tune. I'll post dyno numbers once we are done with the car.

LMR thanks for sharing the video.

Plum do you have an ideal of what A&C are selling that engine package at? I'm considering going that route or twin turbos next year.

LoL, These cars make on average around 400-415rwhp from the factory on my dyno. We picked up nearly 200RWHP while only increasing cubic inches by 15. Its all in the cylinder heads/cam shaft/exhaust system/tuning.
Later down the road the customer plans to add some boost to push the 1000hp levels.

You guys have to remember, a dyno is just a tuning tool. Every dyno reads different. You will know the hp levels when you see what mph it runs at the drag strip, or how well it pulls against other cars making X amount of horsepower.

I'm a huge fan of a good LS engine but have to agree many of the rwhp numbers I have seen are not backed up on the track...

A 200rwhp increase all motor without trading off excessive bottom end is a very good improvement by any standard.

600rwhp N/A is not all that great. Wake me when someone does 750rwhp N/A on pump gas.

Why not be the first?

You'll be wanting a solid cam in the 260/270+ @050 range along with an assortment of other stuff that will make it a weekend warrior with way less manners and torque than stock at normal street rpms.

That 520 is making near 250rwhp at 2500rpm and 300rwhp at 3000rpm. That'd require a blower for most Gen 2 engines to match that.

or how about 1150 hp on 93 octane.

TORQ 1200 engine - 1,150 horsepower engine with 1150 ft.-lbs. of torque. The Torque V-12 is an all-aluminum, electronically fuel-injected engine designed to run on premium gasoline.

Interesting concept, a 14 liter (860ci) all alloy V12 for the marine industry. Sadly it appears there wasn't enough investors money left over to keep the company filing returns so it has been deregistered...

These however are available, are well proven as reliable enough for sustained offshore power boat racing, weigh only 500lb, and would fit in the Viper engine bay with a different intake...

A Falconer repower could make an easy 1000hp all motor on 93 but would cost around $100k fitted.

Hey suddenly that 520 making "only" 600rwhp seems like a bargain, plus would be more fun to road track as you could learn to use all of it.
