Dana & Ben at Virtual Works have put a ton of time and effort into this car. Dyno day arrives and there are a few issues, so we get to the dyno late, about 1 ish. Shane T starts doing his work, around 4 we lose a drag radial, ouch!
Tore up the rear quarter little. Luckily we had the r6's with us that are normally on the car, swap those out and get back to work. In the pic below the radials are still on the car
We were having trouble getting the car to hook on the dyno. At 16 lbs it was making 1,38X, spinning pretty badly. For the next run, the 1,722 we had someone on the back of the car.
On the 1,722 run we lost the serpentine belt. We think it jumped off when the car hit the limiter and then it pretty much got shredded, so the day was done at that number.
oh yeah. The package came together and look at that MFing power curve and torque curve! Yeah MFR!!!!!
The turbos are gtx45's with stainless vband housings on them. 1.16's and tial vband 60mm gates. Perfect combination. 44mm gates would have been an insult to those turbos and this set up.
Dana did a fantastic job putting it together. Congrats my friend you have the sickest mfr around. Congrats again buddy...the vision came together. Hell I remember when I was telling you about the combo and its finally together. I love it when shit works out. Good for you buddy its just retarded!!!
