10 quart's with a new filter should be it, but check after you start it and get oil pressure. Then top off as necssary! have fun!!!

Mine used 10 quarts. Buy 11 just to be sure you have enough. Some say it take 11 quarts.

I just did my '06 Coupe last week.

With a new filter I added 10 quarts, ran it for a few minutes, then checked it. It was perfect - Right up to the full line.

I've put a few miles on it since then and just checked it agin tonight - Still Perfect.

Good advice above - Add 10 quarts then top off as necessary.

Get one of the new Viper specific filters and not the old MoPar ones. Just alot better designe for the Snake, and make sure your Dealer orders the one for your model year, since there are two relatively new filters out ( one for the 08 ). The 08 filter is year specific. If you have trouble finding one, feel free to call me today or on Tuesday.

Best Regards,
