What should I expect to run in the 1/4 mile...

What should I expect to run in the 1/4 mile with this setup:

2005 SRT vert
Paxton s/c
Belanger headers, no cats, no x-over with Magnaflow exhaust
Street tires
Stock gears
Driver = 200lbs.

I know there are many variables which impact times (temp, elevation, driver experience, etc...)

I'm simply asking what this car should be capable of.

On my 05 I ran a 11.34 with Paxton S/C and everything else was stock including the run flats.

The car should be capable of high 10's, but that does not matter if you can't drive it right. Stock tires is no mucho good.

I don't get it?? I've got a stock Viper with a reflash, air filters and a Corsa with stock cats and I ran a 11.68. Why spend all the coin for the Paxton for only 3/10ths in the quarter?

I was waiting in 05 for my new rims and tires and decided I did not want to miss Bradenton. I only had my car a couple of days with the S/C set-up when the Viper Nationals were being held in 05. I still wish I would have had a chance to see if on DR's and just a Paxton if I could have dipped below the 11's.


JIm if I had a set of DR's you could have taken another half second off.

No idea. I've seen 505rwhp Paxtons and 685rwhp Paxtons. I've read of 900rwhp Paxtons. I have no idea what Paxton setup/kit you have.

I should be in the 675 rwhp range. The car dynoed 700 hp but had to be tuned down because the fuel couldn't keep up with the air. That was before the headers.

That's a little better than I was expecting. I was shooting for the low 20's.

Low to mid 11's. A yellow SRT with a stock motor, Paxton and stock runflats went 10.7 at Bradenton in 2006.

justin, expect low 11's trapping close to or just over 130 m.p.h. with the set-up you mentioned. With a set of Michelin pilot sport cups or Hoosier A6/R6 in the back, expect high 10's with 130+ traps all day long. Cool down between runs for the best results.
