another small touch is to remove the black allen screws inthe dash and go the local home depot they make some chrome/nickel plated ones you can change to for the whopping sum of less than $3(three dollars). huge change for small change!

that is not the std bezel it is the low riding bezel... also when u install u're shifter knob it is adjustable ... u don't have to screw it all the way down ... just have the locking nut meet the knob where u want it... SEE u can have u're knob where u want it
I went with the First Strike knob with the short bezel and really liked it:

haha. i actually laughed when i first read this, but I went and did it and it does make it look a lot more attractive! The surprising thing is that people notice the difference!

That's just like mine. I like the brushed look better than chrome in cars with black interior. But the chrome does look sweet with the yellow console covers.
