gen 2 to gen3 head swap

got the gen3 heads going to send out for porting is there any gain in getting larger valves installed as intake and exhaust valves are only 20 thousandth larger ex. 1.580 - 1.600 in .200 - 2.02 , another question the stock valves have a large dish in both in. and ex. does manley or others make a flat faced valves , that would up the compression , any thoughts welcome thanks to all

It is insignificant in regards to volume. Valves, maybe a bit. I always use the 2" valve along with the 1.6 Manley. Seems to work well.


Did you have the PS boss and Temp sensor boss installed too? If not I have a set with those done ready for porting:
