Twin Turbo Oil??

What oil is everyone with twin turbos running?? I was told to use conventional VR1 20w/50. Just looking at what everyone runs. My oil analysis was great but all this stuff about 0 or 5 W for cold startups is confusing. I read all of this stuff on Bob is the oil guy and other forums and it seems like the experts say 0 or 5 weight is the best because most engine where is at coldstart up. I change every 1000 miles.

Also motor was built about 1500 miles ago. When would you change to synthetic?

Depends on tolerances of the engine. Compare grades from the older days to the modern day (i.e. todays) engines. You will see a shift from 10W30, 5W30 to 5W40, 0W40, etc.
