Gen3/4 ACR wing modification

so my Viper is not a ACR but it came with an ACR wing that looks to be made of fiber glass but I'm not sure since its painted black and it also came with thin metal side plates

so I decided to replace this metal plates for Carbon fiber

on ebay you can buy different sizes of Carbon Fiber sheets
I bought two square pieces and cut them to the similar shape of the originals that came with the wing let me know what you all think

I will post pictures soon. . .

Some Viper wings were painted body color. The original wind ends plates are stainless I think. I was thinking maybe aluminum but I was just moving mine yesterday and they felt too heavy to be aluminum. It's possible you have an aero coupe wing.

That's interesting,
I'm tempted to sand down a corner of the main part of the wing just to see what material is underneath

The modified Carbon Fiber side plates are completed
You can see now the Carbon Fiber plates are much thinner than the original metal side plates
I will post a video of this on my YouTube channel soon
I can’t wait to see on my Viper
