Wrong fuel in tank!!

Hey guys I have a 2006 viper went to fill up at a local
She'll gas station. I hit the 93 octane button and start fueling. Didn't really notice until looked at the price and saw $1.95.. Well the premium was at 2.40. So I stopped fueling and there was about 3
Gallons of 87 that pump into the car. I tried it again and after you select 93 itll go straight to 87. I drove around town for about 30 minutes trying to burn this fuel, just cruise in 3rd gear under 3k rpm, no hard accelerating. Will this harm
My motor??!

Roll the car over on it's side and drain the tank immediately. Just get some of the dudes trolling the gas pumps to help.

Based on a 18-19 gallon tank capacity, continuing to top off with 93 will bring the octane rating to above the manual recommended 91 octane. Doing so will also decrease your wait time on going WOT.

That's a great idea, but would work much faster if you took an oxygen cylinder from the welding supply house and snaked a hose down in the tank with the oxygen. Set the regulator on 30 to 40 psi and it will be fine

I would have topped it with 93 and just drove her easy, not an issue.

I've seen the aftermath of this. Diesel used to be cheaper than 87 back in the day so seen a guy "accidentally" put diesel in his car. A lot of black smoke out the tail pipe. Actually drove a few miles and was pulled over.

Holy crap, 87 octane rates a post? Thought for sure some one put diesel in by mistake somehow. Relax man, drive the car.
