35th SS vert or Viper GTS

I have a 35th LE Convertible with 6,000 miles on it. It is in perfect shape. My problem is I am growing tired of the F Bodys and would like to get something different. I have been looking at 96-02 Vipers. I would like to keep my car and buy one but cant afford both. Does anyone have one that could tell me what they think. Should I keep my vert and buy a viper down the road. Which would be a better investment? Are vipers as nice as they look? Please help me! I think about this on a daily basis and Its driving me crazy!

Keep the Camaro, Vipers are fun when you are driving them, not sitting there in an f'n garage.

I did just what you should do, three months ago.. Sold my Camaro Convertable and bought my viper except I did not even have to think about it. No regrets or remorse here! Vipers totally rule over any Camaro.
Do it! You will not regret it.

Park the Camaro on your throat.

Proto X - This forum is not very friendly to NOOB's or people who ask stupid questions. You should have just asked if you should keep your VW Beetle or get a viper.

Regarding your decision to purchase the Viper and get rid of the Camaro. What I did not mention was the fact that I loved having a convertable and knew that I still wanted to have that open air and sun in my face feeling when cruising. (My wife always likes to take her top off when I had the top down in the camaro. The RT has the same affect on her. NO I WILL NOT SEND PICTURES!) That is why I chose the RT. I love the GTS and the RT and I am glad I purchased the RT with the hard top. I think if you enjoy cruising alot with your top down as much as I did and you get the GTS, that would be the only thing you would miss with having the Viper. If you plan on hitting the track and want the best performance get a GTS.

Drive a Viper....you will sell the SS and never look back.

The SS feels flimsy and underpowered when compaired to a STOCK GEN2 Viper. Even a Gen 1 has such better feel and performance than the SS.

But maybe I'm a bit biased. I had a C5Z that was supercharged....I got to drive a 2000 Viper RT/10 as a rental.....sold the vette and never went back.

What you are used to driving are street cars for the street (SS). Not a Race car for the street (Viper)or a street car for the track(Zo6) All three may look simular on paper but are worlds apart when you drive them. In my case...I have a race car for the track...that gets put onto the street.

Neither car is an investment... with that said, buy the Viper and park it in the garage. It is much better looking than the catfish.

Viper Club of America is the website you want to do your research on. They are much nicer and willing to give you the advice you are looking for.

Now piss off

At least Senorzee wasn't so confused as to consider a Camaro over a Viper.

Are you afraid you'll have to cut off your mullet if you get rid of the Camaro?
Like Samson, will you lose all of your strength?
