LED Lighting?

I was just reading on another forum about converting over to LED for all the interior and exterior lighting. I've seen this done before and the end result looks very sharp. Has anyone done this with a Viper?

You could do colored lights under the car, too.

You could very well be the first.

Maybe add a depiction of some playful marine animals on the hood, too. That would really set it off.

Just think of the prestige and envious looks you'd get...wow. Money, for sure.

LOL, not something I plan on doing anytime soon!

In all seriousness, I did see a C5 Corvette done with LED lighting and it really did make the car look a lot more modern. It surprisingly didn't look ghetto. It just looked more modern, much like HID lighting does. I was just wondering if anyone has done it on a Viper?

You guys do realize that LED lighting is the next round of tech for every car manufacturer, right? Audi has it as an option on the 5.2 R8 and Caddy has it on the new CTS.

I'm not talking about retrofitting an LED light strip to make your car look like the DRL's on a new German sled, either.

We know. There is less electrical draw so a smaller alternator and battery, lighter, smaller wires etc. Retrofitting gives none of those advantages and pisses away money that could be used to make the driver or car faster.

I just did the upgrade to my truck. The interior definitely has a different hue. But with the gauges being yellow in the Viper, the blue/bright white hue from the led would make it look pretty bad imo.

that car is now an aerodynamic blunder! i know someone who has easy access to a laser cutter and a buffing wheel. that rear diffuser is actually worse aero wise than the stock rear bumper.

back on topic- i did swap out the interior lights in my other car. outcome was kinda cool. white light instead of the yellowish tone.
