Changing Tranny Fluid

Hey guys i wanna change the tranny fluid on my 98 gts and want to use royal purple sincromax, has anyone used this? if not what should i use?

I tried it. I prefer Castrol Syntorq which is what the factory recommends.

I use Dex 6 synthetic. I think it should have all the additives the tranny needs.

How long have you been using this in your tranny? I've been using penzoil synchromesh. I'm going to change the fluid out soon, but curious on the long term effects of using the synthetic.

For about 8K miles. That being said, my tranny was on it's last legs and finally gave up the ghost. I have to switch it out this week. I will be refilling it with Dex 6.

Initially I changed mine with Pennzoil Dexron VI but after a month or two I didn't like the way it felt shifting (I don't remember exactly how it felt, just not right) so I changed it to Chrysler's ATF+4 (#5013457AA) and it shifts a lot better. I think this is also what Chuck recommends.
