Roll bar blocking emergency exit lever

I have an aftermarket rollbar in my 96 GTS. Because of this, the emergency exit lever cannot be fully pulled (see attached pic).

It never bothered me until my battery went dead and I couldn't get out of the car. Luckily, I had the windows down, so I crawled out. If my windows were up, I would have had to break them to get out.

Has anyone else run into this and what options do I have to fix this? I'm getting ready to shave the lever down to clear the bar, but wanted to see if there was another option.

I've got the Autoform roll bar installed in my GTS and it's tight but it still works...You may have to take the seats out and adjust the bar.

Trim the handle til you can get the door to open...that the easiest way.

I think I have the corsa rollbars and I can't see any way of adjusting the bars. Looks like trimming the handle is the only option. Thanks for the feedback guys.
