Gripper Shift Knob Or First Strike Knob

Ok, heres the deal, I just recently purchased the B&M Short throw shifter and I am looking for a Knob to go with it. I have read MGW are the best choice. Now which one is better according to the owners of these Knobs?
Thanks for all the help guys

I had the MGW gripper shifter on my old GTS and loved it. I JUST ordered the same shifter on my SRT coupe about 10 minutes ago. It's so weird this thread would come up, as I was just pondering the same thing.

I have the first strike and love it,It fits your fingers very well.
It is made of a harder material though,no padding.
So bangin through the gears can be a little tougher on the hands.

I've got the first strike along with the ripper shifter kit.. absolutely love it and have never looked back. Comfortable feel, and precise.

I've had the First Strike knob in both my Vipers. In the current GTS it's paired with the B&M Ripper shifter and is awesome. Great feel and positive shifts.

if you do the gripper with the bm shifter just realize it will be a very very short throw. i have that same setup in my gts and the stick only comes about a couple inches tops above the console cut out. i love it that way but some think its too short and makes it an awkward shifting position.

Based on the high positioning of the console/shifter area, I went with the First Strike and it was the right choice for me.
