K and N's and smooth tubes a waste of money ?

Wondering if anyone has done before and after testing / rw dyno of a stock vehicle with K and N's, smooth tubes done.
Past experiences I've had, bolt on's were a waste of money unless internals are done.

Exhaust is a definite, knowing I'm pissing the money away as the power gains will be minimal at best, but need the sound.

Wasn't sure if the K and N's and smooth tubes were just a waste of a few hundred bucks.

Thanks

Depends on the car, but most ill pick up 10-20RWHP with tubes and filter. If you're looking for a set of K&N's I have a nice used set(need cleaning), I take $30 and you pay shipping

What do you think, due to what the bitcoin rate can be? It is very difficult for ordinary hard workers to buy it because of the high fees and long transactions, and not everyone will go to the exchange. I found the information on Cryptocurrency Blog that bitcoin can jump twice, but it is necessary to pour very significant funds into it. If you want to make X2 or more, then it is better to take an undervalued currency with a good technical base, you can read about it on Blog.Switchere.com. Good luck to everyone.

Very well-documented gains of around 10 RWHP on the Gen II. Cheapest gain you will find and that's why so many Gen IIs made the inexpensive modification. This is standard on the ACR version from the factory, Dodge claiming a 10 HP increase (from 450 to 460) at the crank.

Probably the first mod I did. I would look for the tubes with the 12 ? bend though. Those straight tubes don't look right.

Second affordable mod is replace the rear muffler with X or H pipe. $100-$200. Not loud but a nice rumble at idle and a beautiful tone when you get on it. Replace the cats with Moroso Spirals for a bit more sound. That's my street Viper. My tracker has 3-inch and is loud.

I have a set of straight tubes installed. They, indeed, change the look but consider this: The upward tension it puts on the intake box eliminated the constant backing-out the 2 intake box screws would do. They'd be loose almost every other time I checked them on my preflight checklist, not anymore.

Food for thought.

Not sure what screws you're talking about but I've had the stock smooth tubes for 20 years and never had any troubles.

It's under $200 for more power, throttle response, a better looking engine bay and filters you don't have to replace.
