'96 Catsup and Mustard considered rare/special/collectible?

There might be available soon a '96 catsup and mustard up here in Ontario, at a relatively decent price with low mileage, when I was initially considering a '94 in the first place. Which one will keep its value longer?

The 96 is a better car than the 94(suspension upgrades, brakes, more HP, rear exhaust), get it and change out the wheels. Keep the stockers for later though!

Enjoy it the way it comes. They look a little silly and bring a big smile. But once it's yours, you can do anything you want to it.

Dodge made 100 Red/Yellow RT's in 96, and 14 Red/Yellow Coupes in 97.

If you can hold onto it for a while it should fetch quite a price.....if using some of the red/yellow Ferrari classics that went through Barrett Jackson as a milepost.

I have a Red/Yellow coupe, most non-viper owners love it because it looks different. Kids love the "primary" colors. When I go to the track with the Purner Wheels (chrome) on, it looks like any other Red Viper.

Just my $ 0.02

Buy it and keep the yellow wheels in storage for future collector value.

I don't know whether theyre more desirable or not...I keep seeing them up for sale, yet no one buys them (in other words, they take alot longer to sell than others...and theyre not going for a higher price or anything). Just something I observed.

Actually it was 166 Red/Yellow RT/10's in 1996. I used to own one.

That's what I did. I put on a set of BBS wheels. I actually still have the orignal yellow wheels and tires from that car. The buyer never made arrangements to pick them up.

I chose the '96 primarily because it had the upgraded GTS suspension, but still had the original style RT/10 interior, no windows, smooth hood, etc. With the rear exhaust it was a very clean, smooth car. I'd probably buy another one in the future to have one RT and one GTS. I really enjoyed my '96 RT/10.

Thanks guys gonna check out the MickeyDee's viper soon. I was planning on picking up oem 18's and storing the yellows if a deal goes through. But, I can't get used to the bright red steering wheel/shift knob/handbrakegrip---are stock black ones readily available/expensive? I plan to store these away with Ronald's shoes too. I like the yellow badge on red though...like Ronald's I.D. without his costume.

Funny. I had a '96 k/m Viper. Very polar reaction to the car. The first few years I had it, I'd say about 80% of the comments were positive, 20% negative. The last couple of years (2000, 2001) the percentages reversed.

Saw the car, with 10k miles it looked like a hundred. Repainted everything, looked like an old jeep on the inside. What a waste of time.
