Average MSR Sunday in the Viper with not-so-average tires (see video)

Well, I got a chance to try my new shoes out at the track this weekend:

18" Purners with Goodyear Eagle slicks mounted. My best laps were 1:21 (which is hauling at MSR), and would have been faster without all the traffic. I also put the hurt on the rest of the competition:

In case you were wondering, the witty comentary is provided by my passenger, one David Tittle, himself... The grip of these tires is amazing- you add about 580rwhp to these slicks, and you can carry some Gs through the turns!

Alex, I'll take "Dialup Warning" for 166MB, please.

DavidTittle.com ought to have a pretty exciting bandwidth bill this month.

15 minutes. Looked like fun. So where was that competition you mentioned? That one Porsche? (Insert sounds of kicking myself for not being on-track recently.)

What is the red light on your dash by your knee?

That red light on the dash is my dif cooler pump switch. The original video was 408mb, and I compressed it to 166mb. The video is only 15 minutes of 1.5 hrs of track time- there were also 2 Z06s (and the Elise, Winston cup car, Porsche, turbo Miata pictured in the video)- but you are right- not really any competition for my car!
