Performance Chip Module

Is this "Performance Chip Module" for real?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33597

Does anyone know if this "PCM" really could (would) provide the 10-22 HP gains claimed? Otherwise, any other Pros? Or Cons?

Hell no! I think it's just one of those little resistors that tells your computer that it's 30 degrees outside so it dumps more fuel. I could be wrong, but I definitely wouldn't buy the hunk of poo.

Re: Performance Chip Module

Run like hell from it. The only TRUE way to tune the vehicle is to reprogram the PCM with a custom program. The VEC's are also an alternative.
