Been driving my Viper.....a lot

Anyone else put 3500 miles on their Viper in the last six months? Out in it 3 to 4 times a week. Work only about 13 miles away and drive it as often as possible. Have an BMW i3 as a backup when weather is bad.
I wanted a driver when I was looking to buy and this one, 25k miles was perfect.

It's a 76 I believe. A lady I work with got it from her father in law. Traded him with their 86 Vette since her husband was going to get it after he passed anyway. She knows nothing about it either. It has a L88 badge on the hood, as if it really had one. Those where gone by 69.

Thanks for the compliment. Getting my father's 84 CJ7 when he's gone. Owned since new.

That RT/10 is a panty dropper with the OEM 17s. Since owning my G2, I've been wanting a G1 also, it's the natural progression.

The Jeep is legit man period my father also had a CJ7. Is your dad my dad? Brother!?!

Well, since you asked I've put over 200K on my 98. So that comes out to about 5,000 every six months.

Didn't like the 17's at first. They do grow on you and I like original everything. Still has the original radio and unmolested engine. Sure it's slower than a lot of mustangs and such but how often you come across a gen 1 in the wild. Owning a gen 1 and 2 would be killer.
Jokingly told my dad I was going to put a lift on the Jeep with big mudder tires. He said he's not dead yet and could leave it to one of my brothers. Knows how to shut me up fast.
Dad's 79 years old so if you're 50 or so, family could be possible.

I truly believe these cars are near bullet proof. Keep up the preventive maintenance and you're golden.
Thanks for sharing.

I owned my '02 for 4 years and put 45000 miles on it even though I had a company supplied pickup with a gas credit card.
