Rear caliper piston (non-ABS)

anyone selling or know where to get a rear brake caliper piston for a non-ABS gen2? currently rebuilding my rear calipers. Centric made one 146.36002 but absolutely no one has them and I haven't been able to find any alternate manufacturers/part numbers. thanks.

jslimm I actually just ordered the piston from there, thank you! wasn't sure if he actually had them in stock or if they shipped direct from manufacturer but he replied today and said he's got one on shelf.

on a new note, anyone know where to get the dust boots for the rear caliper guide pins? no luck finding those for sale anywhere either, or any interchange info.

Brembo is the manufacturer. I believe the calipers are also used on the Lotus Elise. There's an active thread on the other site with links.

Yep, that's correct they're also on the Elise. i checked Lotus forums, all the links they posted are dead-ends. if you know of the active thread i would really appreciate a link because i couldn't seem to find anything. i searched "guide pin boot" on VCA and returned 0 results.

You can also look for AMC Eagle fitment. That's where Castaing suggested Team Viper look in the corporate parts bin.

The rear calipers are not meant to be rebuild by the average person. There is an Allen head bolt that breaks when trying to remove and then requires machining. I tried this, that's how I know. I do have the instructions if you'd like, but it is easier to just buy a used one. Get with Brian at www.jonesautoinc.com

Is it just Loctite preventing removsl, like mentioned in the DIY, or something else? If Loctite, perhaps heat would be a good thing to try.
