I cant say what is normal as I have an N=1, however with the car off my pedal travel is minimal, with car on it drops down a bit (maybe 1/2 to 1 inch).

Hopefully that is normal and my vac lines arent jacked 😂

Sounds normal to me otherwise every car I own is messed up. With the car off the brake booster does nothing so you will get a harder pedal.

22-year-old Viper it wouldn't hurt to change the brake seals.

The reason I pump the pedal with the car off is to be able to compare how much booster assistance is happening when I start the car since I donít know what the correct spec is thatís kind of the reason for my post

The viper has a "zero-lost-pedal-travel feature". The pedal shouldn't move much, at least compared to most power brake systems designed for old ladies.

Sounds fancy in this flyer:
