So I took a picture of a low mileage 1994 engine. Owner has no maintenance records but the car has been in the family since new. Appears to be unmolested and original. Carfax shows no dealer visits or oil change places. The dad had a collection of cars and may have had the maintenance done himself. Car actually felt spunkier than another gen 1 I drove last week. Can anyone tell from the attached picture, trouble spots. This just might be "the one". Thanks
New rear tires and 2008 date for fronts. Very stock interior and exhaust. Paint seems dull for a garage car but lacked any paint chips or stress marks that I could see. Thanks for everyone's remarks.
Pics of the rear tires. Can't tell for sure these are new. Maybe newer but not brand new. Really just looked at the front tires as I was told the rears were new. Note that the car was not detailed and my test drive was in a few dusty roads near by. Thanks for your help
Do the hoses look original? Carfax is void of any trips to any service centers. One owner cars are great if you can detail the cars maintenance. The owners kids are uncertain as to what was and wasn't done. Would a Dodge data base, given the VIN number, give me any clues?

From the photos, it looks like a very clean, original piece with current inspection. OEM tires were Michelin XGT-Z. Those appear to be newer Pilot Sport series. The Sport Bar front cushion trim is missing, generally indicating that it has worn a hard top in its past life. You should ask about the whereabouts of both items, along with stowable soft top; side window curtains (plus storage bags for side and rear windows) and cockpit tonneau cover.

Saw the soft top and was told there was a hard top in storage that needed a head liner fix. That's why the bar is missing.
Thanks for the tire info. The other viper I test drove had gen 2 18" wheels with new bfg's in back and pirelli tires up front for some reason. Might be the other way around, can't remember. Mixing tires is a bad idea.
Drove the car home today. Can't believe I have a gen 1 viper. The drive home was exciting, terrifying and so surreal. All stock 94 with 25k miles. Finding a Dodge dealer near me with a viper tech. Need to do a complete fluids change. No matinance records. Has new battery and rear tires so I can check those off the list. Thanks for everyone's help.
