Feedback on removing catalytic converters

Hey everyone, I just installed a Borla Cat-back exhaust system on my 02. It definitely doesnt sound like a gma's car anymore, but it's not as loud as I wanted or thought it would be. I'm thinking about removing the catalytic converters, any thoughts?
Thanks-

Unless you’re going big power with blower or turbo, I’d recommend high-flow metallic cats over catless. It smooths the tone out, avoids some of the drone, and avoids any unburnt fuel smell. The high-flows still sounds much better than stock and really help to cool the side sills.

I ran catless for a short period with a Magnaflow exhaust and it was too much. Catless with stock exhaust wasn’t bad, but still fairly tame.

I would replace the cats with Moroso Spirals.

I installed high flows because I got tired of stinking and dealing with emissions. I personally feel high flows sound better than catless.

This. I went catless for a bit...sounded like crap-O-la...went high flow...still too hot but sounded great...then dumped the high flows and went with spiral flows (x2) on each side. Cut off the 3" reducers on each end, welded together in the center, and wala...perfectly sized twin spiral flows that flow great, sound great, and keep things cool. The catless smell...eh...don't really notice it unless you are standing by the rear bumper. Obviously not emissions-compliant, but then a Viper flies in the face of so may other societal norms.

I went Catless with the B&B Catback with the rear muffler delete and it was the best thing I did to the car. It was loud but I thought it sounded good. The cooler side sills were the best benefit. I used the spark plug non-foulers on the sensors and never threw a code.

Sounded just like this...

I went with Belanger 3" catless mid pipes and B&B exhaust, along with a canned SCT tune on my '00 RT10. There is a moderate drone from 1450 thru 1550 rpm but nothing really bad. The smell from the exhaust isn't bad either, perhaps due to the tune.

Catless with Corsa/factory manifolds and I have zero complaints. I'll be replacing the manifolds with American Racing headers in the near future.
