Outdoor car covers

Anybody got suggestions? Is it possible to waterproof the stocker or best to buy one for outdoor?

Maybe get a satin one? The OEM is cloth, don't think you can make it weather resistant

You would need to waterproof and UV proof it too. Sun will destroy it. If he comes over.

Funny. I found that one too, before I posted. Waterproof and UV. I pulled the trigger. Should have it by end of week.

Been leaving the RT/10 in the driveway for too long while I do some garage mods. Gotta cover it. Will probably be outside for a long time.

Just keep in mind, waterproof covers are non-breathable. Meaning they may keep the weather off the outside but will also hold moisture inside. If you have to keep your car outside in the elements, keep it waxed, glass Rain-exed and find a breathable UV cover. Sun and trapped moisture will do more damage than rain.

Good tip. I might have to worry about that. We typically have 1000000% humidity and 90 + heat in Tampa but it's only for 10.5 months a year. The other month and a half is really nice.

I got that one a few weeks ago. I'm pleased with it. Should fit all Vipers. Maybe even with wings. Obviously convertibles still need the top on during rain or the cover will become a swimming pool in the cockpit.

Before anyone buys one let me know. I think they keep sending me coupons I can forward.

What kind of discount? Just going to the website, they showed a $10 coupon.

I don't know if hail is a concern in your area, but this one seems to be good for hail. They say it is "treated" to protect UV, so I am a bit skeptical. But hail is a big concern for me in Colorado, so I'll probably end up with this one.

Hail? Looks like you'd be safe from asteroids! Guessing a falling tree during the storm would bounce right off?

Probably a good cover w kids/g-kids balls & thrown whatever until the little heathens decided to slice w a pocket knife to see if it'd pop!

My understanding is that it only inflates for a short period i.e. the length of a hailstorm. Otherwise it looks like a candidate for skin removal surgery.
