Cooling fan turns on at 170 degrees and stays on. What gives
So when I start the car and let it idle the fan will turn on at 170 degrees says my scanner and my gauge. I've changed the engine coolant temperature sensor. The fan will come on and stay on. It will not shut off. Not sure what it is any ideas? Thanks
A/C is off. Just checked the relays and they are fine. It does have a sct tune....but the tuner says the fans are set to run around 200 degrees. He is trying to figure this out with me. The problem is the car never gets warm enough for the O2 sensors 2 trigger closed loop
