Oil sensor problem

Which of these is the oil pressure sensor? The one on the bottom is leaking.

My Viper expert came through. Mbcenter. The top one is oil pressure gauge, the bottom is oil pressure light! Just FYI for the next guy.

They both sense oil pressure. The 1 wire unit is for the warning light. The other is a pressure transducer ( variable resistor).

The Oil Pressure Switch is Mopar 4848295 or Standard Motor Products PS366. Info is available on any parts suppliers website...Rock Auto, Amazon, etc.

Edit- I incorrectly assumed we were talking Gen 2. If this is a Gen 1 then it would appear your Oil Pressure Switch is Mopar 33004791.

Yours is a Gen 1 motor? Not that it should make a difference, but it looks different than a Gen 2.

Yes even before you sent that my local parts store had sold me a PS366 and yes it did not fit. Thanks for the update.

I'd check the parts interchange book for the 5.2 and 5.9 Magnum V-8's of the same vintage. The Gen 1 Vipers were very much 'corporate parts bin' assemblages to a high degree.
