Supercharger issue - maybe

Installed roe supercharger and noticed when letting off the gas when the engine is stopping under engine power (decelerating) I get a split second hick up like it losses momentum of engine braking. This happens right after throttle. I only get this issue right after throttle release so If I keep downshifting I don't get the hickup only when I first release the throttle.

I have checked vacuum leak and everything seems fine and spark plugs. I don't know what to do next. I recently took apart intake box and cleaned throttle body and sprayed some cleaner into the IAC. haven't started the car yet but anyone come across this issue. Car is fairly clean only 22k miles so throtle body was not that dirty but I did notice the IAC a bit black, cleaned that off by spraying into tube and using rag.

I'd take a look at the throttle position sensor set up. Make sure both sides are the same. What tuning are you using? Vec or SCT?

Bypass valve not functioning as designed? Just a guess.

SCT.

Iam also thinking ECU needs to relearn a few things. Car stalled on me today while coming to a red light but seemed to get better after a few off and on of the engine (stalling went away) I feel like ECU is still learning after reset. But I could be wrong. Its winter here and going to be difficult to get a 5 full cycles on it.

It never stalled before but after I cleaned the a few sensors so I feel like the sensors are also dirty and after cleaning the ecu is relearning new signals. BUT slight hesitation on deceleration is still there. Only happens once warmed up doesn't happen on cold engine.

Brand new ROE I doubt its the bypass. Someone online had same issue with another car while letting off the gas and in gear there is a split surge/skip.

Been searching everywhere can't find answer on this surge.

I have 94 RT/10 with Roe supercharger that was working fine. Months ago the VEC2 get damaged and replace it with another one purchase in the internet....installed it and Viper works fine again....after two months the PCM burns....got the PCM repaired in Viper Specialty and installed but engine misfire...after communicating with Viper Specialty he recommend to replace the VEC2...I purchase another one and the car have the same problem....try to connect with laptop and receive a message "System locked. Enter serial number BC30081 and encryption code". I don't have serial number or code...does anyone how the decode the VEC2 or someone that can reprogram it?

Do you have a way to log data? It sounds like it's entering fuel cut, exiting fuel cut, and then entering again.

Yes Sean from ROE send me the file to log but its winter here and need to run it a few miles before logging it. Probably won't get to that until the spring/summer.

But its weird because only happens on load. Never skips when pressing on the gas in natural and watching the rpms drop only when in gear.

Similar Hiccup with new ROE SC install

I just completed a ROE install couple weeks ago on a 99 ACR and I'm experiencing the same or similar issue but it's intermittent. It's a "hesitation" or feels like a "kick down" on a car with an automatic transmission and disappears soon as I put my foot back into it. I've noticed it a few times when I'm putzing along like in a 40mph zone and trying to hold a steady speed in that sweet spot where the cars not bucking under load or I should have it rolling in a lower gear. Too me it feels kinda like the blower backed off for a split second or sumpin. I'm going to drive it some more and pay close attention to it and when we get it dialed in; I'll get back to you.

That said; the car pulls like a bandit with the blower. Trying to get used to it. BTW: I'm running Meth; are you running METH too?

We used the ROE SCT for a base metric after install and then a tuner spent 3 hours refining on a MUSTANG dyno. The car runs good, it's just this intermittent quirk that I'm trying to figure out. I haven't driven it much due to weather and some personal issues post install. I'll get back to it eventually.
