Creampuff with ROE

Considering buying a Roe for my 2000 ACR.

I need your input

1) Can I get the 6.5, 6.2lb or is the 5.5lb my only choice
2) What are the power difference and what can I expect with 5lb and 6.2lb, 6.5lb.
3) I don't plan to upgrade my engine to forged.
4) I don't plan to race my car and redline it much, just regular driving with occasional hard pulls.
5) Should I upgrade my fuel pump with these pully's or they don't produce enough to justify a pump upgrade
6) Is the ROE tune ok or should I get it professionally tuned. If I get it professionally tuned is that dangerous as it is a creampuff or should I remain with the conservative roe tune.
7) What would be the install cost estimate.

Thanks
Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Also is the stock computer enough, do I need a piggy back or something else. I am not sure about this part of the setup. VEC2 VEC3, I don't understand this.

Roe

1) I'd run 6.5lbs
2) about 25 hp per pound
3) Ok
4)Ok
5)Leave your stock fuel pump
6)My car is running the ROE tune but it is best to get a professional tune.
7)Install yourself = cheap. Probably 2-3 k to install but im guessing.

I would make sure you put high flow cats on and a cat back exhaust. Stock fuel pump can handle up to 8psi boost so leave it. Maybe replace the motor mounts if they are shot.

Yeah i'd say 550whp for sure.

My setup has the VEC 2 and it runs great. They are just out of date and no longer have any support. The vec uses tunes on plastic cards like a hotel key that you upload. I am now going with the SCT set up because i'm also getting the newer intake design. The vec lowers the fuel in the rear 4 cylinders because the front 6 end up getting more air with the older intake setup.

Remember the ROE is a positive displacement roots style compressor.

Its not a centrifugal like a turbo or a vortec

So yes ~550HP is what people are posting but there is a tremendous amount of torque that is maintained through the power band.

You're best bet is to install a Gen 5 engine. Easiest way to make 600RWHP.

Until you go into boost where these 4 rear cylinders are now lean....POP. Remember...the VEC trims fuel at all times....not just when its needed.

Question, why do all this work if you don't plan to race your car and redline it much, but just do regular driving with occasional hard pulls?

In defense, the ROE makes the car completely different. You literally have to relearn how to drive it since its so responsive...not just at WOT but everything off-idle.
