What body material are the doors made of?

I want to fix a bit of damage on the door and bought a fibreglass repair kit (3M 422 Fiberglass Resin & Repair Kit) without first checking what it is. From memory, the shop manual just states that most panels are RIM or SMC, but doesn't specify by panel or area of the car.

The kit I bought has a polyester resin but SMC is best fixed with epoxy, from my googling, so I'm not sure I can use my kit on the door. Thoughts?

I got tapped in the quarter ten years ago and used Duraglass. Still holding up well.

Also thanks Dean (forgot to quote)

Sooo...who's right?

The damage is about 1" x 1/8" right on the back edge of the door, and it needs a bit of filling out that will be durable because it will get brushed by getting in and out occasionally, and it's on a door so will take punishment from being closed unlike other parts.

If you're in doubt go with the SMC repair.

You need to be more specific. If you're looking for room dividers (I think you do) there are a lot of different options. Room dividers is a very good idea if you want to have a private space, don't waste a lot of money and can't buy a separate apartment. I have two children who live in the same room. Unfortunately, we have a small apartment and there is no room for another room, so we decided to buy dividers for the room. I think it look quite stylish. You can check patio doors , they have good prices.
