Please help. - what engine oil in my TT car

What oil should I put in my stock motor gen2 turbo car ?
Synthetic or non? Diesel oil?

Joe Gibbs Driven DT50 15W-50 full synthetic is my vote. Pricey but worth it.

Good oil, but I like using the 5-40 Turbo diesel oil. Designed for HD use and has more anti-wear properties.

Mobil 1 15w-50 Racing oil. Has more ZDDP than other oils and doesn't have the EPA sticker on it for this reason. The thicker oil will complement the added heat with TT.

Mobil 1 15W-50 does not have more ZDDP than Joe Gibbs or Brad Penn or equivalent oils. Not sure about the turbo diesel oils. I would assume that the turbo diesel oils have more ZDDP in them as well.

Mobil 1 is a decent oil and I used the 15W-50 religiously when my car was N/A.

I'm sure there are other oils that may have more ZDDP. I was simply stating that compared to the vast majority it has more ZDDP. Regardless it is still a solid choice for his application along with a million other options. Many people tend to get sacrilegious in their personal choice of oils anyways...

I use the mobil 1.

Is the Amsoil any good? I have heard good and bad things about it.

All the above oils are fine, just change it often and use a good quality filter (I use OEM). Do a Blackstone oil sample if you're really wanting true data about the quality of the oil and condition of the engine (metal, fuel, additive, and coolant content).

I use Amsoil. I have never sent it off for an oil sample on my Viper , but I have on my daily driven SRT8 Jeep. I ran the oil 10K miles and the last sample came back with excellent results and below average wear. The average miles tested for that vehicle were only 4400 miles vs my 10k miles. They actually suggested I run it for 12K miles before changing it.
