Yup, the mods are going to appear tacky to a large percentage of folks and the poor marketing doesn't help. One of my other hobbies is collecting older firearms; I am constantly surprised at the substantial difference in auction prices for similar guns where one is presented well and the other is presented poorly. Photography, grammar and a thorough description of the item all play a role in how comfortable and confident potential buyers will be. I'd advise taking a look at professionally done advertisements and emulating them as a starting point. As someone who recently purchased a Viper I can say I'd have glanced right over this ad without even bothering to contact the seller as there are simply too many red flags.
Presentation. Like these shocks I found on ebay. The leopard skin rug says it all. Your sex life WILL improve by purchasing these
I just picked up my 99 ACR in Viper Red in near mint condition 49k miles for $35k. Seller wouldn't budge on the price, but the car was in such good condition with brand new tires, Konis, and brakes that I decided to jump on it.
Lack of knowledge and open mind. I'm sure if has been around for 20 Years and everyone was doing it, your rude comments wouldn't have happened. It take 10 minutes to remove and back to original paint in exact condition it was when it was applied. Protected from road debris. But that's right this is the alley, disrespectful comments and close-minded opinions about personal style are regular here. If someone is serious about wanting it, I would peel it. If they need to figure out what a all silver viper looks like. There's Google. Maybe I should just say stripes are vinyl that would make all the difference, except if they don't want them alot more work and risk removing. Also I'm asking $34k not $40k like most gts are listed for. Agreed the look may someone hinder the sale so I removed some, back to the original that's still amazingly intact. Not all plastidip looks bad as you can see. And don't try to screw a fellow owner selling his car because you don't know what your talking about.
Bud you where wondering why nobodys interested in your car at that price. Everyone is simply telling you the reason why. Even a few recent owners that just bought said they would glance over your gts and keep looking. It has nothing to do with laziness or closemindednes, a lot of people assume if you do that ricer stuff to a viper. What else isn't done to it that's questionable where you can't see. Who wants to go through the hassle of peeling all that stuff of after buying a new toy? And then hoping all is well under all that dip and it doesn't need a repaint. Why go through all that trouble?

People were just giving their feedback, don't get all butt hurt. Even if it was paint...It still doesn't look good to the majority (people you're trying to sell it to). Nobody is going to take your word that the paint is fine under the dipped parts.
Doesn't take much to get you all going. Black snake im married bitch I have to fuck myself regularly. So don't need you to tell me to do it. Dave have you ever dipped, the fumes get you so high, I get a boner just thinking about it. Lol. You all are a bunch of dicks, your welcome.
