Check the plug wires on the bad side before you pull your hair out. Do you think there is any reason they messed with the valve adjustments? Any word back from the shop?

If you did a compression test, do a leakdown as well as it can show issues even if a compression test shows fine. And yes like someone else mentioned, are you sure the plugs are wired correctly and not mis-matched? Had that happen once and couldn't figure out why the engine was running and sounding like shit, got two wires mixed up.

I call you shortly gary...the new part owner reached out to me and said he was the lead mechanic the whole time or the car and made an attempt to make it all right he wants to personally drive to my house for the weekend and fix all the issues of what they messed up on the car and even offered to fix a few suspension issues they had nothing to do with...apologized and seemed sincere but as I told him if I paid them to do the job they did what kind of work can I expect if its for free ??

at this point I want to find out whats wrong with the car and then ill decide if I want to give them another chance or request money back and go elsewhere and cut all ties

what would you guys do?

Run for the hills and don't look back. I've had some problems of my own recently and hindsight is 20/20. I should have just used a Viper specialist to begin with, now I'm 6 months without a car and it drags on.

Maybe it's the way the sound was picked up by the recorder, but honestly like intense5.5 said, it sounds like crap also in the "before" videos (no offense). Never heard a Gen 2 sound like that TT or not.

So they've now admitted they screwed up. And under pressure, they want to get it right?

Classic.

Anybody that doesn't have the skills or attitude to get it right the first time does not magically acquire the skills when getting called out on bad quality work. They are still fucking idiots reference the work you hired them to do on your car.

So all of a sudden they are sorry? No, they are worried about all this negative exposure and need to clean up the PR mess they've made for themselves.

Refund / lawyer / claims court.

Sometimes shit happens and people get pissed, say shit out of line, forget, go all ghey drama on shit or the like. As a person who has been victim and also victimized others when I was wrong, I try and work shit out. In this case, not disclosing work, missing all deadlines, no to REALLLLLLY laggy communication, I would not let them touch the car at this point. I mean the list of endless fuckups here guides me to that conclusion. I would seek a remedy of some sort and not accept the loss here, but you need to be whole is all, and to find the solution to the issues with the car is my first step, then ask to be whole. Nothing more or less-just get whole.
