Wheel opinions please

I know you all hate my stock wheels, but lets put that aside for a moment please. I'm going to get my wheels powder coated and I would just like some opinions on my two color choices.

Somewhere along the lines of my cars long list of owners, the wheels have been poorly repainted white and even plastidipped a horrid blue complete with overspray on the calipers. Brake dust sticks to that spraypaint like Michelle Obama around taxpayer supplied lobster.

They will either be original white, or I'm toying with the idea of the metallic blue matching the stripes on the car. If there are any Photoshop dudes in the alley, I'd love to see the blue on the wheels.

I don't think any car can pull off metallic blue wheels...especially a 20 year old car on 17s. However, if you DO decide to go that route, Justin at JMB can match that color perfectly. He did it on my intake and valve covers.

Yeah, definitely leaning towards white, I just wanted to hear some opinions.

A poor example, I know... But the color scheme is exactly what others are suggesting and the pic is high quality:

PVD Chrome Coating, It's like a chrome powder coating. Here's a photo of my old GTS, the wheels were plain when I got the car. You can see a little bit of the wheels in this photo. I think the PVD Coating cost me about $800 (total) including shipping the wheels to them and back

I dropped the wheels off with a local polisher today. It will probably be 3 weeks between the polisher and the powder coat. I think I'm going to go into withdrawals.

Thanks for the opinions guys!

Just got the wheels back from the polisher. They look awesome. I know it won't be exactly like this after the clear powder coat, but soooo much better than the white.
