th400 swap questions

i have a gen 2 tt viper . twin 6766's aem water/meth . 6060 . made 940whp on 13.5 psi .
looking to convert it to a th400 for drag racing in closed street events .
1. can i swap back and forth between my th400 and 6060 in 4-5 hours as i dont wanna be street driving the th400 all the time
2 . how much time will i gain on the same power level by just changing the transmissons ? approx figure . like if i run 9.8 right now with the 6060 what would it be with the 400.
3 . companies which sell complete kits . conversion stuff , trans , converter , shifter etc
4 . what ball park figure would i be looking at for a complete conversion with a nice converter
5. stock gearing or 2.10 low gear?
6 . racing on a closed street event from a dig ? as no drag strips here
7 . which one to get ? reverse pattern / transbrake / manual shift etc etc

any advice from the pros would be much appreciated . reall want to get this done asap . thanks
Hamza

Call Will. Within the last few weeks one of their auto TT's was running 9.0s or high 8's while testing on waste gates.

I am currently in the process of a conversion right now. Once you have all the parts it isn't too difficult to switch between the 2. Me personally I wouldn't do it.

You may or may not run faster with the auto, but you will run consistent with less strain on your drivetrain parts. MIke would talk about driving his car all day, running to the dragstrip spinning off 5-6 8's and then driving home, no big deal. I know his car ran in the 7's on a stick.

Another detail to keep in mind is the auto is going to eat HP. Say good bye to that 940 rwhp number. I've seen on some cars in the past, a conversion eat up another 50-100 HP which varies from each individual setup. Plan on adding another few lbs of boost after the conversion is done.

If I'm not mistaken 1Tony1 swaps a 6060 and power glide out in his car. He can do it in 2-3 hours IIRC. But....this is Tony we're talking about here. Haha.

you dont need to add any boost. car is going to be a heck of alot faster on same boost level. its a night and day difference. that conveter works wonders...along with staying in boost thru whole run.. i lost 100whp going thru the auto. but my car is alot faster..(all street runs) track soon.

Do you still have the Coan adapter for sale? Is it part # COA-980090 for use with Gen 1 and Gen 2 motors? I need it to adapt a SuperFlow engine dyno, which is set up for GM bolt pattern, to be able to run a Gen 2. If this is what you have, how do I reach you to discuss purchasing it?
