Congrats on the purchase. I loved the graphite as well...was lucky to find mine without stripes (your combo looks good...i just like the solid color). You'll get as many thumbs up and questions as guys driving cars costing many multiples of what ours cost now. Enjoy!
One of your intake boots/tubes is installed backwards.
My OCD, It's bugging the fuk outta me..
hahaha, good catch. I'll probably have to swap those out for smooth tubes then... I haven't spent too much time under the hood yet. It took me a while to close the damn thing. Don't worry, I was careful and used two microfiber towels right above the bracket supports.
Let's see, already threw a CEL today. I think the gas cap gasket was bad, so I replaced it with a new locking cap. Also, got pulled over for the first time. Had no front license plate. The cop let me off with a warning. So I'm thinking of ordering the JonB bracket or making similar myself.
Thanks all for the comments.

Holy crap does the DSM run? You don't see many 1ga's that aren't rust buckets by now! Whose getting the garage space?
Viperpartsrack.com has some nice rubber kit as I too get hassled in Maryland for the front tag law. Its always in the trunk and I just use the "I forgot to put it back on after cleaning it" excuse.
Yea definitely looks like a Corsa and yes that's a microphone for the Bluetooth on that aftermarket radio.
The Talon will run... I just keep toasting batteries on it. The paint is in terrible condition now as I started to scrap the paint off the roof. I was going to do all the body work myself and then have a shop paint it. But life caught up and have had little time. My step father bought it new in 1990 and handed it down to me in 1999. I was even fixing it before then from old Talon Digest articles. Still only 96K on the car; 20K on the motor.
The Viper is supposed to get the garage (had the Talon in there) but I'm having some logistical issues with the garage/driveway right now. The incline is way too high and it will destroy the front fascia if I try to get it in there. I'm weighing my options right now.
Thanks for the info on the plate and the microphone.
It definitely looks like a Corsa cat-back...here's a couple of pictures of mine for comparison...
I'm guessing it isn't a short throw shifter, but a short shifter knob. I'm sure you know the difference, but here's the OE shifter and an IPSCO short throw shifter (this one was one of Mark's prototypes, so it's not exactly like his final version...fit and finish)...
You should remove one/both of the side sills to see if you have an aftermarket cat...
Here's the OE exhaust...
...and my Belanger turn out, Random Tech cat with CORSA cat-back exhaust...

I'm thinking that it would also be good to have some bug splat residue on the front license plate so that if he balks at your excuse, you can say, "oh, looks like I forgot to wash it when I removed it. Probably would help if you have some gray hair.
Thankfully, no front license plate law in my state.
Ditto on the talon feeling, my first car was a 93 GSX and the whole "resting arm on center console" brings me back to those days
Yes, exactly :-)
I was fiddling around today under the hood and found out that I have K&N air filters as well. And as 1.8 pointed out, I fixed the intake tube. I'm still trying to diagnose P0442 and P0455. I had changed the gas cap with a new Autozone one, but the code came back. I think the AZ cap was shit, so I switched it with the one from my Talon and it seems to fit much better. So far they haven't come back, but I think we'll see in the morning. Otherwise, I'm going to look at the Leak detection pump tomorrow.
I also put the license plate in the front window with suction cups. Let's see how the LEO like that...
