I had a Mercedes SL that came with a hardtop dolly, but I passed it on with the car. Does anyone sell something similar?

You could get this. Or you could just lean it against the wall with some carpet or foam underneath it. As a roadster owner, I rarely drive the car with the top on...if it's not nice enough to roll topless, I drive something else.

I built a cabinet. 1X10s and plywood. Hung it on the wall.

Do you have a picture of that cabinet opened up?

That stand is perfect, but I'm too cheap to spend $500. We might need more pics of 99RT10&GTS garage, looks strong!

I can get some of it when opened. I have a 4 post in that garage now, so one of the doors hits the post.

I looked for something for a while but didn't find anything worth spending over 500 bucks for

so I use a towel for the floor and one for the wall. it's worked great for years with no problems. Cost me nothing.

I use 3 padded hangers (they protrude 16" from the wall), 2 on the bottom, 1 on the top. I spaced them so I have to slide the top in from the side...that way it can't fall over and fall out...it will contact the top hanger. I keep the soft top and bag on the bottom behind the hard top. I added extra padding to the bottom hangers...
