Its just the mentality of certain types of cars that higher price = higher quality. If I had sold them for too low then, it would have been disregarded as a bad kit.
Oh, so you are selling a bad kit that is cheap for too much money then?!?!

No that just tends to be peoples mentality.
If I sold it for too little people wouldnt consider it a good kit.

Its a nice kit, thats why its on my own car.
Also why I dont mind letting people look at it in person, I have nothin to hide.

Some PMs have been very courteous by some members.

A simple "I saw you post here for 50$ cheaper".
Would have been more than enough.

$250 sounds like a good deal to me, where are you in the DFW area?

I realize that, most of the "senior" members are the ones acting childish.
Regardless of their behavior, people are still interested in the HID kit.

They probably would flip out if they knew how many shops in the area buy these kits and sell them for nearly 2x-2.5x times the cost.

Those interested continue PMing, its obvious to them its still a good deal.

Simply put you tried to gouge people and it didn't work. You posted this exact same product on offtopic.com for $250 then cranked the price up $50 just because they are on a Viper board.

price gouging - seller's asking a price that is much higher than what is seen as 'fair' under the circumstances

Considering HIDs still go for well over $300, its hardly gouging.

It may be unfair, but its how things sell in aftermarket world.
Higher ends car parts are usually higher priced.
Its true I did adjust them higher, but I was more than willing to lower when asked.

gouging is defined as selling the same product at a higher price hoping that people's ignorance will provide you with more $$.

I am pleased with myself to know that I cost you $50 from every sale you've made.

I agree with Makara.............Viper discount! instead of 250 I think 200

You should really post pictures of them.

No, you aren't trying to price gouge. The reason IMO people got mad is its the same product you offered to another board for 50.00 less and just because we have vipers you are adding 50.00. You saw an oppurtunity to maybe make a few extra bucks and you tried to run with it. Honestly I would be interested but I'd need to see them 1st and I am still disgruntled about the 50.00 but if you are willing to admit that mistake I'm still willing to take a look at your product
