What a fantastic weekend! It was my first time at RA as a driver and it was everything and more than I expected. I ran in the USTTC (time trials) group. We had 17 competitors on Saturday and 16 on Sunday. We also had cars from the HPDE Solo classes in our run group which made things interesting at times. My weekend nearly ended before it began as you'll see in the video. The damage was only cosmetic thankfully. Big thank you to David Pintaric's crew from Kryderacing who checked my alignment and the guys at Archer Racing who dismounted my left front tire to clean the rocks out of the bead. Took the car out for an ops check and everything seemed fine. Tommy Archer got in the car and promptly ran a couple back to back 2:21's and verified there was nothing wrong with the car, just the driver.
It was amazing to see what the car could do in the hands of a pro like Tommy. Wow. Just wow.
I was able to shake off Friday's faux pas and reached the top spot in TTU and overall both Saturday and Sunday.
Anyways, hope you enjoy the video. Martin Scorsese I'm not.
