I sadly, your right but it's not because the Viper can't make the power. The Viper has never truley been pushed. When it starts to make power the problem is the insane tq these cars make. There simply isn't a good enough trans to hold the power of the V10. Imagine for a moment if the Viper had the billet block and 425cfm heads and turned to 8500rpm. It would see close to 3000whp. Now find a trans that can hold the 2200-2500wtq it would have. Simply not going to happen. Again, not because the Viper can't make the power, it's just the opposite, the Viper makes too much tq.
