Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'll get back and update in more detail later. Overall I'm extremely proud and pleased of how we did at an event filled with serious players.

The car performed flawlessly and showed incredible potential. After the 191 mph pass we started to lean on the car some and ended up exceeding the torque capacity of the clutch. The great news is that means it was making some good jam.

We'll be back.

Thanks again for the kind words guys!

We're heading home and will update everyone with more info and pics soon.

The car will clearly make north of 2000 HP when required but we found out the current clutch won't hold it. Didn't expect this new quad carbon clutch would flinch but a bigger and better clutch will be designed on Monday and we're going back out! Bottom line is we couldn't ask for a better debut!

We sincerely appreciate all the support from the Viper community. It was so awesome to put names to faces throughout the event. Can't wait for the next time out! The car was a brick house all weekend, the AEM Infinity ECU is absolutely sick, the engine is ready for more power, and the turbo components we built are performing flawlessly.

Great update Aaron, it's nice to see that the Viper aftermarket is not completely dead with non-Viper specific companies willing to jump in with some $$$ to make these cars competitive in today's fast paced scene.
Were their anymore runs after the 191 pass?

Nth did a great job of showing the potential of the Viper platform. The Gallardos are fast, but those also have $250K in modifications done to them, on top of the vehicle price. They only look like Gallardos, but most of the parts on the car are no longer Lamborghini.

Taking a bigger picture view, the TI cars are fast. But, we all know that they aren't fast compared to some of the street cars we see at the drag strip. A car like Sal's that crests 200 mph in the 1/4 could certainly eat up most of the field at TI. RWD isn't a disadvantage, when set up properly. Nth went 191 on an 18" drag radial, it simply worked.

If someone wanted to win TI with a Viper, it is definitely possible - with the right funds behind it. There were only 3 Vipers in the competition this weekend, mine, Alky's and Nth Moto. So, the Viper racers are scarce for sure. There wer e probably 15 Lambos and 20 GT-Rs. Mine was the slowest Viper, at 1200 rwhp.

Glad I got to meet you Aaron, Zac, and Lee. Great times, indeed. The car impressed everyone, as did your crew.
