Car made a hard move towards the Center Line...hard to recover off that one...He was off the Throttle immediately....Props to him!!!

Driver error sadly. Was never going straight, got the driver side rear into unprepared part of track causing wheel to spin. Other tire is still planted, makes you a right hand slingshot.

If the driver side lost traction and the passenger side was hooked up, wouldn't the car go left?

See this all the time...the experienced drivers will try to drive thru it to save the run...there is only 3 outcomes...smack a cone, save it or....over correct and bam. Takes a really well prepared track to save it. Seen some really close calls at Indy this weekend and a couple non saves.
Sucks! Hope they get it fixed and back to the track soon.
