Bello had the fastest car that weekend. It was impressive to watch, because it sure didn't look fast sitting there. Very sleeper-like.
I almost forgot about that, Eddie's car is one of THE best definitions of a true sleeper build. You could almost say he's the "Sal" of the Porsche crowd with how fast that moves out once he gets the power down.
I give props to the GT35R SRT for hanging with him @ 2:47

Are you kidding me? To compare Sal's car to Bello's car does a complete and total disservice to Sal and Drummond Racing.
I saw Eddie Bello's car at an event I ran one of my GT-R's in at E-town last December. That day Sean Ivey went 8's (on a pass with me in the opposite lane) and several of the GT-R's he built were running high-8's/low-9's. Bello's car is a cobbled together piece of shit. Sorry to say it, but that car is hacked up (the rear valence looks like it was modified with a rusty hacksaw) POS and bears no resemblance to a well-built piece like Sal's or a UR TTG.
S.
We corner scaled a stock 08 Superleggera at 3322 with a 57% rear weight bias, for reference.
Overall investment, as PFR said, has a lot to do with seeing certain platforms utilized more than others. Anything can be made competitive with the right money and effort applied.
the gallardos are not unbeatable, but they are pretty fucking fast, there has been several of them beat over the several TI's.
My TA, Flash's TA, LMR vette, Hollywood and OUfan have all beat them through the events.
But you guys have to realize that there are different levels of Gallardo. The ones that got beat make "only" 1550rw LOL~! the orange car there makes probably 1800 rw they will never tell us the truth, but the orange car is not a basic R package car, its a notch above. So when watching these videos each run is not apples to apples.
In the future events, Hollywood and Oufan will probably piss in their cherios, I have no desire to go any faster, crazy fucks

What I meant by comparing the two is that Bello (like Sal) actually goes out and drives the daylights out his car. As for their cars, there's no question that Sal's is head and shoulders above Bello's turbo box.
I can't wait for my junk to be done so I can hit my long time goal of 300mph @ the salt flats.
Would rather have a Sal type bad ass Drag Race car than the other...but wouldn't mind having any of the cars that are running the Mile. Nice engineering across the board.
When drag racing was the bench mark of racing, I mean from a stop and off a tree. The TT Viper was top dog. When shops like UR and Heffner were building Vipers. Of course Drummond and Sals car as well (the king of all Vipers). There is no arguing a built Viper in a 1/4 stand still drag race, those Lambo's wouldn't stand a chance.
However this roll racing has now taken over as the race of choice. Naturally, the people are going to go with the best platform for this kind of racing, which imo are the TTG's, FGTT, and GTR's.
I still think a Viper built for roll racing could take hang with the 1500whp UR TTG's. OUFAN did damn well the last time he was out along with those RSI built Vipers. Can you imagine if Sal's car was tuned to this kind of roll racing? Jesus Christ the thing did 200+mph in 6 seconds.

What doesn't someone throw a glide (built to go 200) in their viper with some 2.56 or maybe a smidge lower gear and that should give the G's more than they can handle. This way you wouldn't be shocking the tires or blowing them off plus the turbo's will love working against the glide and just pull like a freight train....

The "1% racing" TT Viper that was formerly an Underground car is apparently being redone to race these events. What is really being done to the car hasn't been stated yet so it's a surprise but supposedly a good one worth the wait.
V4C....I don't know anything about that Viper, but to beat the G's the Viper will need a glide to do it best. A transmission that will take full advantage of the huge amounts of torque the viper can make and apply it smoothly.....A big tire with lots of side wall as well....

Make no mistake it will be drag raced and it will see MANY mile events in prep for going 5miles non-stop @ WOT.
This sounds like a death wish. Not sure what gears you are using, but I can't imagine what you would need a 5 miles to ramp up for or even where you could run for 5 miles.

Hopefully we won't disappoint in my grocery getting, AC blowing, full weight TT Viper
Thing is, being the fastest car there isn't all it takes. The stars have to align just right and things not break! UR is beatable, but what they've achieved so far is nothing short of amazing!
