Where in Colorado did you live? In Colorado Springs (and pretty much anywhere along I25) I've only experienced great weather. Mostly sunny days, and the humidity is so low that any snow that falls is...

O2 sensors

Howdy all!

I've had a couple codes pop up that may be related to my throttle response issues. I cleaned out my IAC and my throttle bodies, so I think that my O2 sensors may be the problem instead...

Damn I should start shopping around. I'm paying 2.6k a year for my GTS. Granted, I'm 21 and it's my only daily--in hail country--but I had just assumed that USAA was the way to go.

Owners manual is $27 or so on ebay, service manual a bit more. I got a '98 service manual cheap, so I'm banking on it being similar enough to get by

315/35/17s look VERY stupid with 275/40/17s. This picture doesn't show it great, but yeah--with stock suspension height there just is not enough sidewall to come close to filling the wheel well....

My current setup is stock 275/40/17 front, 345/35/17 rear. It's half the price per tire to run the toyos out back, and they fill the wheel well pretty well. I haven't had any traction issues, just...

Aesthetically, for sure. The people that side-pipe their GTSs seem to say it sounds a lot worse though--very droney.

I think I might keep the 3-spokes on for a while. They'll get the 345 Toyo...

Oops! Resurrecting a dead thread, but it's my thread so it's okay, right? If the records don't exist, make new records, right? I put two of my 3-spokes on, and I must say I like the results. There's...

I'll have to check the battery out--not sure how old it is. And yeah, it has always idled around 450-550 for me (guestimating based off of the tach). Haha maybe the choppiness that I have been loving...

Limp Mode / Bad Idle?

Howdy all!
I've been having a minor problem with my '97 GTS for a bit, and I'd like to bounce it off of y'all. This is an on-and-off occurrence, so I am not entirely sure what to make of it.

I might have been brought up differently, but I'm not going to spend $30 on three very common hand tools--especially during yard sale season

Final update: Waited for the rain to stop then swung out to the next best auto parts store, and borrowed a pair of vicegrips and two pairs of pliers. An hour or so of fumbling with the regulator and...

Ask and you shall receive. I decided that I had the time to fix it correctly today, took the door apart again, and finally got the window out of the clip. Then, in my infinite wisdome, drove to the...

You're probably right. I just got scared when the manual said that I need to remove the door popper button. But since that's electronic and not mechanical, it probably isn't a huge deal. If the rains...

Howdy all! Finally getting around to fixing my window regulator door panel is off, window stopper pulled, and the clip that holds the white bit to the window is off. I don't want to manhandle the...

My understanding is that it only inflates for a short period i.e. the length of a hailstorm. Otherwise it looks like a candidate for skin removal surgery.

I don't know if hail is a concern in your area, but this one seems to be good for hail. They say it is "treated" to protect UV, so I am a bit skeptical. But hail is a big concern for me in Colorado,...
