I have a 93 with side exhaust. I have Edelbrock headers, high flow cats, and Roe (Borla) mufflers....it is really loud, ask Chuck 98, Gerald and the cops....I need ear plugs if I go on a ride longer...

Even with 40K in a motor, it will only rev a bit higher and give you maybe 700 HP from it. So the F1 answer does apply since the technology they use (pneunatic lifters, titanium and other materials...

FEO65...aren you nuts? The reason the F1 cars go to 18K RPM (BMW) is because their engines are completely different and refined. A Ferrari F1 engine costs around 300K as opposed to 11K for a Viper...

Chuck, sometimes the deck itself gets too much heat and shuts off. That is why OEM decks have that refractive tape on the outside. My new deck turns off every so often and actually reads "HEAT" on...
