The stock diffs in these cars can take a good beating. Itís the half-shafts that mostly break. Just get a good set from Driveshaft shop and you should be fine.

Sounds like ignition to me. Try new plugs/wires. Another thing could be fuel filter. Had a similar issue on a BMW and it was a dirty fuel filter.

The biggest issue you will have window regulators. Vipers Gen1-3 are easy to work on. As long as they are driven regularly and maintained like a normal car they are fine.
