I never have been able to understand the whole concept behind this sort of truck. I buy pretty basic stuff, work them hard, then pick the parts off of wrecked ones to keep the rest of the fleet going. If a gasoline pickup doesn't go 200k mi and a diesel 450k, it hasn't been worth having.
that was a twin turbo ram srt quad cab auto making around 660 rw hp thru the auto. it ran 12.0 at almost 120 mph on the stock tires at the dragstrip. sold it a while back. but when we had it that big 5400 lb tank could beat down a lot of fast cars and bikes. pretty fun to see the expression on others faces after they got beat.
Hey John H., Sorry been on the road, but havent talked to them lately, but Joanne called the other day and they still say they will get it together for the event. I really hope so, been going nuts getting so close.
