I talked to CCW and it can be done for $290 per corner in new barrels. This is a DIY operation.

You could bump the barrels to make them 18"

315/35/17s look VERY stupid with 275/40/17s. This picture doesn't show it great, but yeah--with stock suspension height there just is not enough sidewall to come close to filling the wheel well. Plus, it looks kinda ricer with so much rim sticking out on the side. You might be able to make it work with a big ole drop, but I personally don't think it is worth loosing clearance over

That ride height, as with Dean's, is an epic OEM+ "stance." Very nice man.

If I had 18s this would also be alot easier....but unfortunately for now I'm going with these 17s until I decide on a set of 18s or 19s for the car.

Bringing this thread back....Looks like I'm gonna go with 335/35ZR17 Michelin PS2 Rears and up front I'd like a little taller and wider tire so going with a 315/35ZR17 Toyo R888R. Any reasons anyone can think of that I should not?

I'm assuming that's your car GTS Dean? Love the look and I'm sure the performance is there to back it up!

I fucking LOVE my 17s.
Not saying other wheel sizes don't look good on the Viper. Put enough of a drop on it and they'll fill up that gap.

I was hoping to fill of the massive wheelwells a little bit more.....17s on factory size tires leave so much room.

Eventually I will be upgrading to 18s or 19/18s with a new set of wheels....for now I'm stuck with these though.

Better would be to upgrade to SRT wheels and have a lot more options on tires, and I have several sets for sale.
But if you have to stay with the 17" fronts:

Rears:

It will be hard to find matching, but they are the same brand.

Tire Sizing for 17x13 and 17x11 CCW Classics???
So I'm running into some issues finding tires for my CCW Classics....17x13 and 17x11. Can anyone tell me what they have run on their Gen2 GTS with these sizes? I was hoping for R888R but they are so limited in 17" sizing! Thanks!
