Doubt you will find 1 mile shootouts anywhere except maybe SSC or TI, Most have gone to the 1/2 mile events because of the HP and speed these cars get to in the mile.

No wannagofast in Chicago. There is one in Nebraska, Sandhills ....I have been to that one, it's pretty good. Very family oriented.

I'm here in Iowa and was wondering if there were any 1 Mile or 1/2 Mile events in the Midwest that anyone knows about?
