Gerald, yes, we raced in the deserts of Tijuana. It's amazing what a $20 spot will do with the cops there to let you use some roads.

I've found that a bottle of Tequila will accomplish the same thing as a $20 spot for them Mexican police.

Another one shows up.

Again with the money vs speed thing. Well I guess if you can't afford one, jealousy would be a strong emotion to have deal with.

And I corrected your spelling mistakes for you also.

Not surprising. Shit, I've got a Viper and I'm still jealous of Mannys.

Get over it you loser. A car weighs much more so it needs much more power (and decent aerodynamics). Get over it. At least with the extra weight we get safety, comfort, some amenities, SOME practicality (although this is not what a Viper is for). And of course you can be rammed into from behind and go flying of your bike. You get what you pay for.

Manny,

What an incredible contribution to the Viper legacy! I predict people will be looking at and talking about this video for years! Fantastic, absolutely fantastic!

Hell, the Ukraine has no jurisdiction in the US anyways.

Re: >>> VIDEO OF MANNY\'S CAR vs. A SHITLOAD OF BUSAS -- 180+ MPH <<<

Manny,

I really don't think a stocker would be a direct bolt on affair at this point. The hood and side panels are way different on your car than a stock Viper, and I don't think they retain any of the factory mounting points. That is certainely not saying it can't be done, however it will take some modification. If you like the car the way it is, and you enjoy it for what it's VERY capable of, then I agree with you and I'd just leave it the way it is. It certainely turns heads, and most of the time they will turn before they can even see you. That exhaust has some RAP to it at idle doesn't it? Car really sounds mean at pretty much any engine speed. Glad to see you enjoy the car so much. Best of luck.

Regards,

Re: >>> VIDEO OF MANNY\'S CAR vs. A SHITLOAD OF BUSAS -- 180+ MPH <<<

Walter,

That brings up a good point and I have questions about that -- how are the laws structured when it comes to that here in the USA? That F40 video was a Japanese guy driving an F40 (not in the USA) and selling the videos. After 10,000 sales of the video or so, the Japanese cops busted him.

He was driving 200 MPH on a freeway with cars on it. We on the otherhand drove 3 hours out to the desert in the middle of absoutley nowhere (not even birds out there) to basically an abandoned old road, and even so, still posted bikes on both ends of this 3 mile road with chatter boxes in case some person were to somehow, for some reason, wander out there (which they didn't.)

Also, we're not selling anything. Speaking of that, I've purchased tons of videos here in the USA, including the Players Club video that shows all kinds of cars doing illegal things. I've seen Moundir and others on videos being sold that shows street racing. Can they bust you after the fact?

Here's part of the video that busted the guy:

I hope the cops don't find it like they did with that F40 guy who sold his video of him going 200MPH on the highway and got busted. The video was evidence.

The video kicked butt. Make more!

That video has been downloaded thousands of times already. Jesus! It's spread to dozens of sites by the logs. Karazy! Good thing the 200 Meg version wasn't released to the public. Took me an hour to upload it to the server. Jesus!

The splitter has maybe 4 screws underneathe if I remember correctly, and has a support bar in the middle (right behind the front fascia) that uses 3 7/16" nuts to hold it on. There are also a couple screws that hold the front fascia to the splitter itself. In addition, I think it has another 4 screws each with a spacer along the backside of the splitter. The splitter itself is shaped like a Hammerhead Shark's hammer, so see if you can picture this. The 'handle' of the hammer has 4 screws that go into the frame, the face of the hammer has 2 screws that go through the fascia, and has a support bar with 3 7/16" nuts on it, and the base of the hammer has a total of 4 (I think) screws each with a spacer. (I think they are all 7/16") Here is the problem you are going to run into. Once the splitter is off, you will find that the front fascia doesn't have very much support at all; it's rather thin fiberglass. At any kind of speed, it would most certainely crack up. My suggestion is to have someone fabricate a support for the bottom of the fascia, and perhaps derectly behind it if you wanted to do some racing without the splitter, OR perhaps bolt on a stock front fascia if you know you are going out doing some high speed racing. As far as the rear wing, I never had to take that off your car, so I couldn't tell ya. Glad to see the car is running great, and good luck with it!

Aslan
Thanks Aslan,

I'm simply just going to keep the splitter and wing on there. I didn't build this car as a quarter mile car -- I built it to look bad ass and run bad ass. I'll leave the quarter miling to ROOF and Gerald and other fast DLM cars.

BTW, do you know if a stock front fascia will fit onto the autoform kit that is on there? The whole front of the car and hood look different. It doesn't looks like you could do it without replacing other body panels.
